Is it possible that some of the Hitler Youth's brown shirts were still in use in the 1950s? Probably not, but it can't be completely ruled out either. The exercise shown here is no different from what the Hitler Youth did. What do you think?

My KFUM/YMCA scout uniform shirt, used in Denmark until the 1970's, were very much like the HJ uniform, but green.

Hi
I think that’s the case with shirts.
For example, I knew an old man in Belgium who told me that when he was a child , his mother dyed WH pants for his father who worked in the fields. she had bought a whole lot but didn't want her husband to work in "Feldgrau"!!

Yes, a lot of the clothing remained in use. I have a book here which has photos of the youth in a particular area both during and after the TR. Even into the early 1950s you can see the odd kid still wearing a HJ/DJ winter cap, girls wearing BDM Kletterwesten/skirts and Hitler Youth sports vests and shorts. All without any insignia of course. One of the young women even appears to be wearing a BDM higher leader blouse, skirt and jacket.
