Hello; I am thinking to buy this cap... It looks good to me... but what are yout thoughts? I have no clue what could had been used for
I do not know anything of it... but his shape, fabric and the piping looks all good and period to me

another oddity looks drillich or marine possibly interesting but will be open to hear if there is any period data on it

I have not ever seen information on this so-called HJ white cap and most of all,
what about a black piping?

Yes, that black cord makes absolutely no sense so that combined with the cap being white would totally put me off this one.

No idea Blackwatch, but I have seen such cap in white.
I have no idea for what purpose it was, but surely not navy!
Maybe one day we will find the answer.

No unfortunately. I contacted the person I bought it from in Germany with the hope they can give me more information. Fingers crossed
