You have to say that Wim's book is highly valued, I have not seen the book at that price before, but it may well be that it is the right price today. In any case, it is a SUPER nice book to have. :first:

I'm glad I already have it on my bookshelf.

quite expensive and consider this book was at one moment even
considered to pull back as it grew into the monster-book it is!

If I had time I possibly may have to consider to self-edit it in the
style as my books about the headgear-series as published now.
There was more to tell, so two books would have been possible!!

If it is expensive it is only because it is so dense with important material...

I would be very happy if this book were updated with additional content!
I currently find myself in this book everyday, (most days multiple times!)
It is an incredible resource... we are so very fortunate that Mr Saris authored this!

It's really an expensive book, but it's also a really good specialist book on the subject and I even have it twice. One to look through and one on the bookshelf.

yes, as a result of the awareness this post brought, I went out and bought a second copy...
I'm sure it will come in handy someday, and I don't want to have to pay the going rate at that time!

It's crazy what some people pay just for what they know (specialist literature). I myself have noticed how important it is to have a good specialist book, especially when collecting antiques. Counterfeits quickly creep in or items are described incorrectly.
Our book will probably only be published in September and of course it is just an extension of Wilhelm's book.
It was important to us to create a book especially for the German-speaking area.
Nevertheless, I hope that it will be well received by collectors.
