This is not about knives, but is in this section because most of the Wittmann exposed nonsense is posted here under daggers/knives.

We all know his and Walter Kanzlers weak attempts to ligitimize the fantasy DJ knives with their HJ/DJ bag that all of a sudden became definite proof that there was a late war DJ knife.. anyway strap your seat belts on for this one, because it`s a bumpy ride.

Recently listed on his site, is a fake SSFM honour stickpin, for $295-. Any half serious collector will tell him that it`s a modern fake. Any forum would tell him that too.

Listed directly above the fake SSFM honour pin, is a genuine SSFM honour pin, described correctly, offered for $2700.-
OK, thats about $1200 above market value, but still, a nice original and the description is also somewhat correct, historically correct.

Directly below the genuine, is the fake, BUT, the fake is no longer a SSFM honour pin, it is for an invented organization, for woman, for the "SS Freudenschaft"
The description is also very different to the identical - original - listed directly above!

Thats how you sell a fake today, just invent your own fantasy organization. ooooops, but don`t forget to check the site, to see that the identical - genuine - is listed directly above, correctly described!

DOES THIS MAN KNOW NO SHAME?

I've been reading the debate on the "Distinguished Foreigner" badge shown on the WAF recently. Some collectors cling desperately to bad items and want them to be real so much that they come up with strange and obscure reasons to legitimize them. T W is the master at this.

When all thats needed is to first aknowledge history. Somehow these trolls always manage to skip that step and go straight into invent mode.
