Factual information gained from following the numbers of this maker:

  • They produced regular HJ-Ehrenzeichen prefixed with "A" as well as B-marked replacements (Why they used the letter "A" is still unknown)
    Numbers (at present) range between 110436 - 123861 [B-badges are naturally not included in this list, as their B-prefixed numbers are irrelevant.]
    So far, it looks like their contract covers a possible 15 000 badges.

This M1/78 is being reported as having four-digits. To be honest, that looks like a further digit under the attachment pin coil. What do you reckon?
