We have touched on this in other threads but we haven't had one specifically dedicated to how the knife changed over time. I've just seen a knife on another forum with no motto, a high ricasso and RZM symbol from the maker M7/13 Arthur Schüttelhofer. The owner describes it as 'early RZM'...

My friend Wickie showed at WAF some material related to flags. Epecially the flag-top part intrigues, as there are mentioned: Fahrtenmesser mit B.d.M.-Abzeichen and HJ-Abzeichen mit aufgehender Sonne. I do include the text and a page shown at WAF. I am sure Wickie doesn't mind showing it here...
