Hi folks.new to the forum. wanted to say hello with this photo I have. Interesting that He is smoking.

How common was it for the HJ to wear the tall Black boots with shorts? I have another photo of an HJ on a bicycle ride wearing the tall boots and shorts. Stylish! but seems odd.
 
Unusual photo , I have no clue why he is wearing black shorts with his Luft helper blouse.
I believe he is purposely posed that way for the camera while smoking a cigaratte .
Sometimes when in military service you get bored and do things just to do things .
 
Yes an kids will be kids. some styles are considered being cool. such as these young men.

Those HJ boys are wearing regulation kit . (brown pullover shirt with black shorts ).

But most, and some of these boys wear the short boots with heavy socks. Then you have the boy working on the bike, and the young man at the right rear. With knee high black dress boots.
 
Man I have been on some dead forums in the past, But I think this one is number one.

Stonewall , you have posted 2 photos of nothing really special . ( A flakhelfer smoking while wearing shorts and boots . )
I answered your question sir . You are a new member and have the gall to say that .
This forum does get slow off and on , however ; you will not find a more knowledgable group of core members that can answer almost anything pertinent to the Hitlerjugend .
We are a small forum with around 3000 members , we cover all aspects of the Hitlerjugend . If you do a search on a specific topic conserning the HJ/BDM you will probably find it here . If you are needy of forum stimulation each time you post something using a photo that doesnt say or mean much of anything then you get what you give .
 
I think you tend to jump to conclusions. My statement was not about anything I have posted but a lack of any on going conversation about anything. As in no new post for days. I have no doubt there is an abundance of knowledgeable people here. and from the looks of it they will keep it. Sorry to have disturbed you and your sensitivity. Dont bother to exercise your Ban stick. I have asked the Administrator to pull my membership, so that I will not disturb the membership any longer with my junk.
 
Although I thank you for posting them, there is nothing particularly unusual about the photos. All boys are wearing regulation kit, albeit in unorthodox combinations. The uniforms and the regulations governing them changed many, many times in those years and smoking in uniform was also not permitted but humans being humans, things like this happened and I think that this is the reason for the lack of reaction to your post.
 
Once again. The comment I made about no activity. " Being Dead" was not in regards to my post! it was an observation of the whole forum. I looked through all of it. and most of the threads were full of old dated none responded to postings. An active forum is busy everyday, with new information. not a "billboard" that you post something and days later someone might respond to a question if they feel like it. I have said more than I intended to on this subject. it was in response to the lack of misunderstanding. from communication with this site. I have no desire to offend anyone and if I have I apologize for it. I have asked the Administrator to remove my membership. And He didn't seem to get the message right either!. (REMOVE ME). and you wont be bothered again by ME.

I'm more than happy to post my two prompt replies to your "contact us" messages but that will mean posting yours for full context. What you think of the forum is of no interest to me because of the way you framed it. Your M.O. is clearly this: don't get the attention you want? Throw toys loudly out of pram, enter drama mode and use deflecting "arguments".

Anyway, please do let me have some more of your drama but you will need to post it here as I won't be answering your "contact us" messages any more.
 
This is an active forum Stonewall, but not every day something is shown or asked,
as this forum is just related to HJ and such. If you are not happy with answers and
communication/conversation, find a forum elsewhere and do not bother.
When I saw the photo I did not feel the need to give an answer. Why should I?

LOL.... talk about impatient :swiss We should maybe consider installing an automatic response that comments on each thread as soon as it`s posted. A few examples of replies could be:
•Great item, congratulations
•Thumbs up
•Wow.
•First see for me, must be genuine.....

If the OP can read this, then my advice to you would be to trot over to the Wehrmacht Awards Forum and post there. You are guaranteed to get a few of the above example-posts within a few seconds of posting.
