Our friend Paul stopped the HJ collection and sold it. I hope everything is fine for him and that he stays healthy especially.:canada1
I got what I could have at collector's guild because I was not warned...I understood immediately when I saw these triangles on sale at Peter Whamond. :crying:

A precious tinnie that every collector would like to have in his collection

Not so difficult to find is the "Tag des Deutschen Mädels" in Köln 1933 . I love the endless different design of badges used by numerous manufactories those days. Does anybody have pictures of this badge "in wear"?

Two tinnies arrived today

1) Bannaufmarsch 90 Rostock 14.15. July 1934

2) Youth Championship 1938

The second tinnie is leveled with a small rock if anyone was wondering what was in the picture. I've only seen this tinnie for sale twice...just recently and about four years ago on Detlev Niemann's website.

I'm thinking that this will be for the Deutsche Jugendmeisterschaften 1938 held in Frankfurt between 24.8 and 28.8.

Thank you gary
I know and understand that it is not always easy to give an answer to our questions, to advance the forum, we must actually look for answers to objects not rare but less frequent
thanks again

Youth sports events in 1938 took place in many different cities and in many different sports. The internet does not give much information concerning this badge :crying:

I'm not really sure what you mean but there is only one Hitler Youth competition of which I'm aware that was called "Jugendmeisterschaften" and that was the Deutsche Jugendmeisterschaften - a Hitler Youth event which had three stages: Bannsportfest-->Gebietssportfest-->Deutsche Jugendmeisterschaften.

The best males , females and teams advanced through the first two stages in their respective sports and everything culminated in the last event.

There is another of these badges on the forum here:

M9 is for day badges but I have always wondered why most tinnies don't have a maker shown.
