The spelling books are nearly the same ones.
Both were printed by Moritz Diesterweg in Frankfurt/Main. The 1941 edition got a paperback cover.
But 1941 was not that bad for Germany.
I hope to find out sometimes why this exemplar is uncolored.
The two books are unusually unpropagandistic.

This week I received three new first grader ABC books printed two years after the Nazis raised the power.
All three exemplars are very similar. Because all books base on the ABC-book "Hand in Hand fürs Vaterland". But all got small differences in details.

Hi Christian, I trust the Euro, but I am addicted to these old books.
It started with two exemplars and I learned that they are very interesting. So I am trying to get all titles to show them on HJ-Research.
I collect these kind of books, but sell double copies too.
As you may know some titles are just available as Reprint others are very very expensive. I have not seen any original from East Prussia, Pommerania or Silesia (all old lost German parts) by now. Actually I know about 140 titles or different editions between 1933-1945.
If anyone is interested in more information about single titles just send me an Email.

your collection is superb. A german dealer offered me the book "Das Leserlein" for the price of 160 Euro. Is it expensive?. I have learned the "Sütterlin" with these books and it brings back good memories.....lol:clap2:
