It's incredible the things people brought home or continue to turn up straight outta Germany from that period of time. It could be a tetherball or perhaps some kind of exercise ball they would swing around? What is the weight of it?

Agree on the assessment. Eagle and HJ stamping. The diamond would make more sense. Eagle, yes HJ is sub organization of NSDAP, I'm skeptical.
