Kreissieger 1939 Aurich

Help needed

My specialty is uniforms , headgear and insignia .

My knowledge is not that good when it comes to badges .

Is this badge good or bad ? And what is it worth if good .

I'm also not an expert on badges, but what I immediately noticed, is that it seems that there is a crack running just above the claws of the eagle.
If this is case, this might of course devaluate the item.
 
I do not have a good feeling on this badge. That diamond looks fake and like indept says, there is a crack across the feet of the eagle. The rest of the badge looks good (enamel, pin, reverse)
 
hi joe, this is a strange one the badge itself is an original aurich but the actual hj badge is totally wrong,everything about that badge screams wrong the condition of it compared to the rest of the badge the enamel everything and that break above the toes makes it look like its an original broken badge that has been badly repaired using a fake hj badge. my advice is to leave well alone plenty of good kreissiegers around
 
Hi Joe,

I am honest to you, please pass on this one. An Aurich Kreissieger is not difficult to be bought and found. Wait until you get a better one. The diamond looks somehow fake and wrong.

Even if it costs 100 Dollars.... leave it!!
