RZM M1/102 HJ Meisterschütze badge

On Jamie Cross' site currently:

This looks like a silver HJ-Scharfschütze badge which has had some kind of gold wash applied to the wreath. I'm thinking "dodgy"..

Edit: just noticed that this badge has already been posted on the forum: http://www.hj-research.com/forum/f4...chuetze-badge-gold-9147/index2.html#post64981 It's a bit of a traveller too because at that time it was on offer at Collectors' Guild.

It's amusing how these things get around from dealer to collector and back to dealer again. I see this with Ebay items quite often as well. I'm thankful that we have the forum to research some of these items and keep tracing them when they show up again.
