Common collector altered ...Kriegsmarine Nco tresse !

I.m.o. these tresse was used instead of original material in the later years. I have one of "Nord Osthannover" with this Kriegsmarine tresse. But I think that all early pattern triangles with this tresse are altered to grade up the piece. I know a well known collector and dealer who has some more of this kind in his stock. So beware! Or you take it as it is - an nice original early pattern "Süd Hochland".
