Pat, that's also one of my favorites. I'm with Stu, I like the worn ones the best. I intend to do some further research and try to put up some information on the geographic locations of the Obberbanns and the locations of the early sigrunes, who's color sometimes matched the Landesfarben.

And....it arrived today. Gebietjungvolksfuher, Artillery Red with silver rune and band. This one has been around the block but I like it.

The contrast is not shown really well in the photo Pat, but the rune is silver, not white. It's really apparant in hand held next to a Obberbann 1 rune.

normally the trades badges with cord around them signified a higher or the highest level of qualification. This is seen on all the HEER trades badges in particular

True Paul. The Sigrunes for DJ leadership also came in different colors than the rank and file DJ members.
