I have noticed that the name i spelled HENZLER on the badge, but I can't find it spelled in that way anywhere else, I can only find it spelled HENSLER.

Have any of you seen the Z-way before ???

Thanks for the info Wim :good:

But I would like to hear if there are any who know if he used both ways of spelling: HENSLER/HENZLER.

I have fond pics of SA sportsbadges with HENSLER, but do any of you have badges - or have seen some - the HENZLER way ???

Hi Wim

Thanks for the additional information :001_smile:
Does that mean that you think it's not an original badge ??

Thanks again Wim for your help.

But I would also like to hear from Jo and/or other "small badge" specialists - someone must know something about

HENSLER/HENZLER

Hi Jo

THANKS for posting your answer - you are :first:

That was just the answer I hoped to see - so now I have ordered the Henzler DJ-badge at a dealer.

The "DJ-big one" was missing in my collection. As you can se in previous posts in this thread, I only have the "DJ-miniput-version" and "DJV-big one". I was very afraid, that someone else was faster than me, and ordered it "in front of my nose".
I have tried to Google "Karl Henzler, Pforzheim" - there is 0 hits, and Google direct my search to "Karl Hensler, Pforzhaim". Maybe the Z-way is not so often used. The books I have was not of much help either. So I am very happy, hat we have this forum with so much knowledge.

Thanks again Jo ,:yo: and as Clint Eastwood says (a bit adjusted) "You made my day"

When I have it in my hands, I will post some close-up pics for the "maker-list".

Hi Jo

Just found this one on the internet - I know that you have pics of different RZM 72 (all copy) - badges, but I do think that this one is at new variant, and maybe it could be original ?

I use to visit that auction site, he calls it a timed auction... you think you have won then...... he keeps adding time over and over and over & over until he is absolutely sure no one else will bid.

LOL... I had to bite the bullet and buy a badge from there a few months back, as it`s one I need for the new book..(I bought a TINNIE, a small badge that weighed 16 grams) and on checkout after winning said postage was USD25.- OK, I paid.... then a few days later he mails me, wants an extra USD 40.- for postage!!! USD 65.- total.. told him to pound sand, got it sent to a mate in Canada, told him to refund an extra postage.. postage cost him USD 9.- ... the rest of my USD25.- postage must have gone on a few free beers for him, coz I never heard back. Mate in Canada then sent it to me, cost him USD 25.- to send it registered post.!!!

Storal of the mory... in my opinion, it`s a nice little international postage scam they got going on there, trying to fit bidders up for USD 40.- extra.

Next time let me know if you need to buy something from Barry. My wife likes to shop at Ikea in Burlington so I can pick up anything you buy and ship from my place in London Ont.

I just got a badge from the States that cost me $35.00 with a $40.00 shipping charge so as you can see the scam is everywhere
