this overseas cap is authentic, but the price is really outrageous.
If a collector is willing to pay that price, why not?

Hello Lauri,

I have found this photo in my archives.
It proves that the NPEA leaders wore well this Overseas cap (Feldmütze).
However, on the photos that you showed, I find strange that the eagle and the round badge with swastika is not silvered.
This is why I did not buy it last year for $ 1395 because I had a doubt.

Nice photos Eric. This is the first time I see this style of OS cap on a period photo. So thank you for your post.
 
I got this Eagle. It should be on such a side cap.

Hello Steve,

thank you very much again for the NPEA eagle. I think you understand why I absolutely wanted it. The roundel is an extreme rarity !
