Interesting flag for Gefolgschaft 4, Unterbann II, Bann 55 Lippe. A regulation dated 21.3.1935 introduced a new numbering system for youth units with a follow-up order issued a week later stating that the Unterbann number was no longer to be included into the unit number which gives us a nice...
After an opinion about these. They are a selection of some of the ranking boards in a collection. I am really new at this game having inherited a collection so am slowly working my way through it (counted 75 singles/pair so far!). I am concerned if they are real because of the warning about...

Hi everyone,
While reading a biografie of Ernst Hanfstaengl I found the following anekdote I want to share: When the Polish campagne broke out, Ernst was already escaped to England and his son Egon was on a passenger ship on the Atlantic ocean escaping direction Canada. Egon realized that he...

Hi friends,
I got this very nice picture of the Mannheim Sandhofen Spielmannszug this weekend at my Museum. Its dated 1933 and I think it is nice for all of us to see this early style Uniform with the black sidecaps and I can not see any shoulderboards!
Enjoy
Dirk
Hi everyone
Let me show you the set of documents which I picked some time ago belonging to Heinrich Balck, HJ Scharführer in Motor HJ. Gefolgschaft 7, Bann 282 (Hamburg-Ost / Nordmark / Nord).
The set includes Balck's HJ Ausweiss, Führerausweis (with great photos of Balck, by the way)...
I noticed this one on another forum. These should have seven rings for attaching to the pole. The clips suggest an early flag perhaps but the corner patch is the later standard type that would not normally be found on a flag without the seven rings. What do you guys think about this flag?
Hello from France.
It's my first post. I own since 1986 a HJ Gefolgschaft flag associated to Gefolgschaft 9 - Bann 60
(Oberhausen - Obergebiet 3 « West »).
Here is three pictures of this flag and its patch.
The patch has been modified during the
war or the pre-war period. A «1» has been...
I just bought this mützenband from Kai Winkler a few days ago due to his sale. I thought I would post it since it indicates that Bann Braunschweig had at least two gefolgschaft numbers related to the MHJ. 16/92 has been seen on at least two MHJ tallies, one owned by Marine HJ (Daniel) on this...
Organization of Hitler-Jugend in Flensburg.
I have tried to outline the organization of the Hitler-Jugend in Flensburg, as I interpret informations in an article Marchieren, bis auch der letzte Schläfer erwacht ist! - Der Hitler-Jugend in Flensburg 1933 bis 1945, from a book published by the...
Sorry I'm new to any forum so I'm hoping I do this right. I have just purchased two HJ flags each marked 8/341 on one side only. If the rings are on the left side, the patch would be behind it, or if you look at the flag with the rings to the right, there would be the patch. Is this normal?
I came across this photo of an unnumbered Scharführer shoulderboard - done internet searches and browsed HJ-Research Wiki - the only "unnumbered" info that I can find is courtesy of Gefolgschaft - (post#6 with photo of unnumbered pair in the link)...
