Yes Dan, clearly readable M1/101, nonetheless a nice Knife emblem.
Here are two beauties. Thanks to Wiesel (Alois for one of them.
A fully maker marked OECHSLER (They were in Ansbach in Bavaria) badge dating surely from mid 1933, and a late 1933-early 1934 badge marked only RZM 11
Ah yes. . .boys will be boys (and the ladies too, sometimes). I read this post from page 1 to the very last. I must say you lads are like kids in a candy store! And having a lot of fun putting this list together. The comradery , the team effort, with a modicum of seriousness. . . but with humour and a zinger here and there. I love it. Don't ya just love it?
Well, I've done my dance and ditty. See ya in the funnies. Jo, why is your flag bigger than the others and with your mouth open? Hmm? I know, it's a Rivett fly trap! ( :admin says I can only post 5 flags. They were all up, sorry
Cheers, apart from HJ membership badges (made in 1933) marked HOFFSTÄTTER, or marked "ZEUGMEISTEREI ÖSTERREICH, the badge marked OECHSLER is the only other fully maker marked badge that i know of.
(Of course there are the OTTO HOFFMANN fakes, but they dont count, because they are all fake.)
One more for the list, pretty sure it is genuine as I bought it off Jo Rivett through this forum! I have stolen these pictures from the Sales section, hope you do not mind Jo!
