So many of these and until Jo came along the dealers were getting away with selling them as genuine. Well, they still are to an extent but I hope as many collectors as possible have seen this thread.

Saw this one coming on an auction in Bristol...

States " The badge with a golden framed rhomboid having in the centre a golden square with a black Swastika in a red and white field. Numbered to the back 5148 with RZM mark M1/70.

I've been staring at for a couple of minutes and I think it's more likely to be an 8. The gorilla stamp of the second nine looks different to what we can see at bottom left of the first number. Added, thanks again.

Good afternoon all,

Just seen this on Militaria - Reisig another M1/70 this time numbered 9581, i think a new fake to add to the site, cannot get picture of back of badge, however the dealer mentions the number see photo. some poor soul has bought this 310.00 euro out of pocket.

Weitze currently has two of these fakes on his site despite having removed other M1/70 badges in the past when prompted.

It is madness and greed Weitze knows he is seling these fakes. It should be illegal to knowingly sell fake/copy items as genuine TR period items.
And weitze and wittman are still selling the so called fantasy DJ knifes at 1100 euros, they both should be in jail.
